The Internet has made it possible to have access to almost anything you want… whenever you want it. And for millions of Americans that includes erotic videos. Internet tracking company, ComScore, says at least once a month 66% of Internet-using men between the ages of 18 and 34 go online for porn.It may seem innocent when you’re single, but what happens when you’re in a relationship? What happens when it becomes “You, Me and Porn Make Three?” That’s the name of an article by Liza Featherstone which appeared in Psychology Today.
Assistant Professor of Sociology at Portland State University and member of the Counsel of the Sexuality Section of The American Sociological Association, Maura Kelly, helps us understand pornography and the affects it can have on a relationship.
